First MGP practice

The 2013 Manx Grand Prix springs into life today with the first practice scheduled for this evening.

For the first time the event is now encompassed in the new Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling which also includes the Classic TT and the Two-Day Trial.

Weather permitting, roads around the mountain circuit will close at 5pm and reopen no later than 9pm.

All of tonight's sessions are untimed with the newcomers due away from the Grandstand first at 5.20pm.
