Government has reaffirmed its support to a proposed ICT university in Douglas after revealing hundreds of jobs could be created in the sector.
The findings came in a new report that suggested this could be worth nearly £100million a year extra to the Manx economy.
Research by the the Department of Economic Development, and various private sector bodies, suggest around 450 IT jobs could be created by 2018.
Laurence Skelly headed the review - he says there simply isn't the skilled workforce here to fill the growing demand for services:
