The Island’s secure care home for children has been re-launched with a new name and a new focus.
Cronk Sollysh is run by the charity St Christopher’s and offers secure residential care to young people who are in trouble with the police, on remand or at risk from harm.
The facility was built in 2001 to provide a place for young offenders instead of sending them to the adult prison.
Now, in an effort to provide the service more cost effectively, it's been redeveloped.
Head of operations Ann Seed says the focus is now on rehabilitation:
