Scotland’s first Minister will lay a wreath at the memorial of the Solway Harvester today.
Seven men died on board the Scottish scallop dredger when she sank in Manx waters over 13 years ago.
The wreckage sits in Douglas Harbour as a sad reminder of the tragedy and will remain there until civil action being taken in Scotland is concluded.
Alex Salmond is on the Island by invitation of the Chief Minister and will pay his respects to the crew of the Solway Harvester later this morning.
