An aid package to help farmers whose livelihoods were devastated by the snowfall in March will go to Tynwald next month.
Politicians will consider the finer points of a £600,000 programme of support from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
If it’s approved the money would be paid out to struggling farmers in August
Around 16,000 animals died as a result of the snow and crops were also ruined.
Agricultural policy officer John Harrison explains how the scheme would work.
