Legislation could be streamlined to help the Island combat the financing of terrorism.
The Department of Home Affairs is looking to consolidate its powers by bringing three different laws into a single Act of Tynwald.
According to the department the proposed changes will stop the Island being a target for terrorists who are laundering money.
A draft of the new Terrorism and Other Crime Bill is currently out for public consultation – people have until July 31st to submit their feedback.
