A decision on whether bus drivers will take further strike action will be made in the next few days.
Unite the Union says discussions are being held with the workforce.
The ongoing row between the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure and the drivers has dragged on for more than a year now.
That’s despite claims from the DCCL Minister Graham Cregeen that bus drivers want to accept an offer which is on the table.
Eric Holmes from Unite says developments are likely now that the national officer Bobby Morton has got a work permit:
