The Chief Minister was in attendance at the British-Irish Council Summit this week in Northern Ireland.
The BIC is the only international forum comprising the governments of the UK, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
Whilst there the Chief Minister engaged in top-level discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond to name but a few.
The current economic situation, youth unemployment, energy costs and proposals for a new BIC Creative Industries work sector were all up for discussion.
