A Laxey nursery which is facing an uncertain future says it will have a devastating impact on the local community if it’s forced to close.
Noah’s Ark Nursery has been run by The Salvation Army but the charity recently announced it was pulling out after July 19th.
It says it wants to concentrate its efforts on other things and feels the nursery should be in private ownership.
This weekend a special sporting event is being held to demonstrate how many people rely on the service.
Yvonne Crawford is the nursery supervisor – she says after 40 years it would be a great loss:
