The Chief Minister says he thinks the Isle of Man fared well during this week's G8 summit in Northern Ireland.
The crown dependencies came under scrutiny as world leaders discussed tax issues and the need to stamp out tax avoidance.
The Island is still seen by many as a tax haven and one which has enabled companies to hide billions of pounds in unpaid taxes over the years.
That's despite garnering a reputation in recent years as being at the forefront of international tax affairs and transparency.
