Tynwald Members were yesterday presented with plans to completely redraw the Isle of Man’s political map.
They're being asked to agree the new pattern of twelve equal constituencies, each to be represented by two MHKs, with an average population of around 7,000.
The existing system whereby an area could be served by 1 to 3 MHKs has been classed as outdated and unfair.
The new plans were drawn up by the independent Boundary Review Committee chaired by advocate Sally Bolton.
She told us not all members are pleased with what's been proposed:
