Fire crews from Peel and Kirk Michael were called into action this morning after an electrical box caught fire.
They were called to a property on Douglas Street in Peel at 7.30am after members of the public spotted flames and smoke coming from the roof.
On arrival they found the external box had caught fire causing smoke logging in the property and damaging the outside of the building.
The fire was extinguished but firefighters stayed in attendance until the electrics had been isolated and the property made safe.
