A group of horse riders will attempt the Parish Walk this weekend – on horseback.
The challenge was first attempted in 1913 by 62-year-old John Young who rode the whole course on one horse in 23 hours.
On Sunday the route will be split into stages of 10 miles with groups tackling a section before passing on the baton.
The event starts at 5.30am to try and limit inconvenience to road users.
