A long time TT commentator says an incident on Bray Hill on Friday has highlighted how watching the TT can be as hazardous as taking part.
Charlie Lambert has been sharing his thoughts on his blog after 10 spectators were left injured - four seriously.
It happened when rider Jonathan Howarth lost control and his bike hurtled into a crowd of people gathered at the popular spectator spot.
In 2007 two spectators died following a mid race collision on the Mountain - the only fatalities of this kind since the TT began in 1907.
