The Department of Infrastructure is trying to address issues with the traffic lights in the centre of Onchan.
Since a road improvement scheme was completed around six months ago there’ve been complaints from road users about the traffic light sequences.
Some people say the area becomes too congested and others believe the timing of the lights poses a hazard.
Director of Highways Richard Pearson says the department has been working to fix the issue and has made several alterations, the latest being yesterday.
Mr Pearson is hopeful this has been successful but he doesn’t believe the area has been unsafe.(play media file below)
