Recorded levels of crime on Island have continued to fall taking figures to a 30 year low.
There have been substantial reductions across all neighbourhood policing areas, representing a drop of 15.8%
The overall detection rate from March 2012 to April of this year stands at just under 50% which remains much higher than the figures registered by police forces in England and Wales over recent years.
An independent survey also established that confidence in the force is high, with 92% of those who took part saying they were satisfied with the performance.
