With just five days to go until the first TT practice, work to repair and maintain the course is almost complete.
Roads across the island were badly damaged by the severe snowfall and freezing temperatures in March.
Efforts to fix potholes and other problems were then hampered by the recent wet spell but will be finished just in the nick of time.
The Department of Infrastructure says it will need to close the Mountain Road again this Friday so the one-way system can be put in place.
It will then reopen to one-way traffic from 4.30pm.
