A number of Sefton Group employees, who government said were one of the main reasons for the company’s bailout, are not Manx workers.
It’s been confirmed that at least 61 of the 300 staff are on a work permit.
Government cited the saving of jobs as one of the main reason behind the £4.5million bailout package.
The figures were revealed in the House of Keys when Castletown MHK Richard Ronan quizzed the Economic Development Minister.
The figure represents 20 per cent of the Sefton staff who work more than 30 hours a week.
