A new car park bought as part of the Sefton Group deal could be a missed opportunity for government.
That’s the view of Castletown MHK Richard Ronan who is calling for a “Douglas Master Plan”.
He believes the Middlemarch car park should be turned into a multi-storey car park and bus interchange – an idea that has effectively been stifled for five years.
Government bought the car park from the Sefton Group for £3.2 million and will lease it back.
Richard Ronan says while he is uncomfortable with that decision he is coming around to it:
