A shared equity scheme that would benefit first time buyers and boost the housing economy could be introduced on the Isle of Man.
That’s according to Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw who says the idea is being considered as part of an extensive housing review.
He acknowledges that affordable housing and support for those new on the property ladder are serious issues and says his department is looking at how best to deal with this while ensuring value for money.
