Farmers who have suffered damage to their fencing due to the heavy snowfall last month are being offered financial help.
They’re being invited to apply to the Farm and Horticultural Improvement Scheme following the worst snow in 50 years.
The weather has caused serious damage to boundary fencing in some areas and government says it is now a priority to put it right to ensure the safety of livestock and road users.
Further information can be found on the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture website. Applications close on Friday, May 10th.
