Unite the Union has refused to rule out the prospect of bus drivers taking part in more industrial action.
That's despite a number of members taking a different route to resolve the ongoing pay dispute.
Concentrating on the legal side of things a number of drivers have lodged claims with the Island’s employment tribunal.
Eric Holmes from Unite says the drivers and the government are still at loggerheads and the position will remain like that until the situation goes to arbitration - something that's already been ruled out by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
He says his focus now is facilitating the legal claims:
