The Directors of the Agricultural Benevolent Trust say emergency financial support has already been allocated to some farmers hit by the recent snow.
They’ve praised the major effort by the people of the Isle of Man for donating money and devising fundraising events.
Money is allocated after the trust is made aware of specific cases, these are then assessed individually by legal and financial advisers who then make a recommendation to the directors.
