TT items on eBay great success

TT bosses say they are stunned by the response to putting TT signs and memorabilia on the auction site eBay after the first item sold for over £1,000.

An orange Ballaugh Bridge sign surpassed all expectations selling for £1,100 earlier this week.

Other items such as the blue mile markers and official podium backdrops are also being sold to raise money to invest back into the races.

TT and motorsport manager Paul Phillips explains where the idea came from:
