Caution is still being advised when walking in this hills today.
It's expected many will use the bank holiday day off to make the last of the melting snow.
However despite it being over a week old there are still some very deep snow drifts, of upto 12ft in places.
There have already been some near misses, with hidden hazards such as machinery and barbed wire possibly buried.
DEFA Minister Phil Gawne has urged people to play it safe and avoid the larger snow drifts as there is a particular concern that many of them are now at the stage of collapse.
