There is still a significant number of MEA customers without power this morning.
Weather related faults like ice on lines, high winds and trees down as well as the heavy snowfall have been the factors behind the many power outages in the last 24 hours.
The main areas affected are from Peel through to Kirk Michael and in the North West, Ballacain to Ballacriy. There are also a number of localised incidents that the engineers are tending too.
Teams are out in all areas working under difficult conditions to restore supplies as quickly as possible.
Ballacottier HQ is running the usual Customer Support Team and updates are going out via the MEA's twitter feed.
