A significant number of people have lost power this morning.
The Manx Electricity Authority says it's due to weather related faults including snow, ice, high winds and trees down.
The worst hit areas are from Peel to Kirk Michael and the north west from Ballacain to Ballacriy.
Teams are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
The first priority of the workers is to ‘make safe’ supplies, with vulnerable priority care customers set to have their power restored first.
