Schools closed due to snow

Schools in the west of the Island have been closed today due to the snow.

The Department of Education and Children has confirmed that the following schools are shut -

- Michael Primary School

- QE11 High School

- The Bunscoill

- Foxdale Primary School

- Kirk Michael Primary School

- Peel Clothworkers

- St John's

King William's College and the Buchan are also closed as are the Dhoon, Sulby and Ballaugh.

All other schools remain open and the situation is being monitored constantly.
