The Island has a new Attorney General.
John Quinn has been officially sworn-in as the acting attorney general for the next 12 months.
The Manx advocate takes over from Stephen Harding who was suspended last year.
Mr Quinn took an Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Acting Attorney General during a private ceremony at Government House in front of Deemster David Doyle and Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood.
Deemster Doyle said the Attorney General’s Chambers requires firm and robust leadership in the challenging times ahead.
