An MHK wants to know if there’s any proof that dodgy dealings are going on in the construction trade.
Member for Michael Alf Cannan is raising the issue in the House of Keys tomorrow.
He will ask Treasury Minister Eddie Teare if there’s evidence of a so-called ‘black economy’ within the construction industry, where cash transactions may go unrecorded and be untraceable.
Mr Cannan also wants to know what liaison takes place with other departments to ensure work is undertaken legitimately.
