A wheelchair user is calling for the Isle of Man government to implement better disability laws.
Paul Sullivan from Braddan says he often struggles to get around the Island because it’s not disability friendly.
Earlier this week he raised concerns about the lack of access from the sunken gardens onto the promenade in Douglas due to being unable to navigate the barriers blocking the entrances.
In response Douglas Council apologised and said it was a protective measure due to the bad weather.
Paul says that’s just the latest issue in a long line which he’s raised but he doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere:
