A month long trial of two bendy buses hasn’t been as much of a smooth ride as government hoped.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is currently running the articulated vehicles to evaluate whether to introduce them here.
However the buses brought over have both been hit with problems – with a replacement bus even needing to be shipped to the Island.
The hiccups mean the trial routes have had to be altered slightly – as there is only one bus operating - although it’s hoped the second will be back in action today.
DCCL Minister Graham Cregeen says the trial is all about getting the public’s feedback:
