Yesterday in Tynwald approval was granted to spend £4.3m to reconstruct the crumbling thoroughfare between the Quarterbridge and the Brown Bobby.
During the debate, MLC Dudley Butt told members that he believes the promenade is far worse than Peel Road and poses a danger to motorcyclists in certain places.
