Merging the adoption and fostering agencies on the Isle of Man could be done by April.
That’s according to the Social Care Minister who was quizzed on the matter in the House of Keys earlier this week.
Onchan MHK David Quirk wanted to know what changes the merger would mean for the future structure of the service which is contracted out by the Department of Social Care.
Tynwald will be asked to approve the merger of the Isle of Man Adoption Service and The Children’s Centre at next month’s sitting.
