Despite announcing more than 3,000 job losses Barclay's says the news will have no direct impact on staff here.
Yesterday, the bank revealed it was cutting 3,700 jobs following a strategic review.
It’s in an effort to reduce costs by £1.7 billion.
A spokesperson says the business in the Isle of Man sits within the wealth and investment management division of Barclays which is an area that’s performed strongly.
They added that the announcement should not have any direct or immediate impact on Isle of Man businesses.
