The three Rushen MHKs are likely to vote against the Southern Area Plan when it goes before Tynwald later this month.
The plan is a blueprint for future development in the south of the Island.
Politician Laurence Skelly says although they're happy with most of the proposals, the issue of development at Ballakilley in Port Erin is still a contentious one.
He says future zoning of the area has been a controversial topic for a number of years.
Mr Skelly says the Department of Infrastructure has taken no notice of people's concerns:
