An Island charity has set itself a new challenge for this year - it wants to equip every primary school here with a heart defibrillator.
Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation needs to raise around £60,000 to make the idea a reality.
Last year the charity purchased the equipment for all high schools, football and rugby clubs as well as other sporting facilities - in total 55 machines.
Each year the foundation also provides heart screening where members of the public are offered a free check up geared toward detecting any heart defects.
