A number of roads around the Island will remain closed overnight due to snow and ice.
The Department of Infrastructure says work is ongoing to reopen the Beinn-y-Phott, Sulby Glen, Duidale, Injebreck and Sloc routes.
They won’t be open now until at least 12pm tomorrow (Thursday).
The Mountain Road has re-opened this evening between the Hairpin and the Creg-ny-Baa – motorists have been asked to drive with care and keep a safe distance behind gritting vehicles.
Barregarrow Crossroads to Brandywell Cottage has also reopened and is passable with care.
Work teams say they’ll continue to concentrate their efforts on high level routes tomorrow where there are substantial amounts of snow.
The public have been thanked for their continued patience during what the department calls "testing times” for everyone involved.
