Douglas Promenade is set to get its first facelift in over 80 years.
The Department of Infrastructure is planning extensive refurbishment works to improve the area between Loch Promenade and Victoria Street.
The public were asked to give their thoughts on plans to reconstruct junctions, carriageways and the pavements – with 67 per cent in favour.
Subject to Tynwald approval the work should start after the Manx Grand Prix in September.
