The Island’s new chief finance officer says he will relish the challenges that the current economic situation will bring.
Malcolm Couch comes into the top job after eight years as the assessor of income tax.
He’s cited as one of the leading figures that's helped the Island develop its attractive tax regime and establish its international reputation.
Speaking to us he outlined what will be expected of him when he takes over from Mark Shimmin in April:
