The annual Illiam Dhone memorial service will take place at Hango Hill in Castletown this afternoon (Wednesday).
Hundreds of nationalists gather at the event each year to commemorate the execution of the Manx patriot by British forces in 1663.
This year has particular meaning as it marks the 350th anniversary of his death and 50 years of the Manx republican party Mec Vannin, which helps co-ordinate the event.
Readings will be given in Manx by Christopher Lewin and in English by the secretary of the Manx branch of the Celtic League Mark Kermode.
Following this a wreath laying will take place followed by the national anthem.
The commemoration will get underway at 2pm.
