A 17-year-old has been granted bail after being accused of causing grievous bodily harm.
Liam Priestnal of Douglas appeared in court this morning.
He's charged in connectiion with an incident on Loch Promenade in Douglas in the early hours of last Saturday.
33-year-old Darryl McGeown from Peel suffered serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition at Walton Hospital in Merseyside.
No pleas were entered and Mr Priestnal was granted bail on a number of conditions.
The case will resume on February 12th.
