Today will see well over 100 Santa’s taking to the streets for the annual charity Isle of Man Bank Santa Dash.
The competitors will be doing a lap of Douglas town centre starting outside of the Isle of Man Bank.
Although fun is very much the order of the day the more competitive runners will have their eyes on the record of 4 minutes 20 seconds set last year by Kevin Loundes.
Registration will this year take place at the South Douglas Old Friends Association.
For the first time this year there will be some road closures around the course while the short race takes place.
£2,700 in prize money has been donated by the bank, with cheques going to the first finishers, as well as awards for best dressed Santas and 18 spot prizes for secret but predetermined finishing positions.
The Dash gets underway at 12.30.
