The Isle of Man is set to inherit one of the biggest martial arts athletes in the world after he sensationally turned his back on the British Tae Kwando Association.
Aaron Cook announced that he would be switching his allegiance to the Isle of Man after his shock omission from the British Olympic squad.
The world number one competitor was left out in favour of Lutalo Muhammad, who was ranked world number 59 at the time.
It means Aaron will be available to represent the Isle of Man on the international stage, representing another strong gold medal hope at the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
