The Health Minister has defended the air ambulance saying it is fit for purpose.
David Anderson says he is proud of the service which transports patients to hospitals in the UK who need emergency treatment.
Concerns over safety of the unsatisfactory environment of the aircraft were raised in Tynwald this week by Middle MHK Howard Quayle.
He raised a number of points, many stemming from a report in 2006 which highlighted issues over temperature control and cramped conditions for patients and staff.
However, Mr Anderson says as far as he is concerned there are no safety issues and he doesn't want the public to be alarmed:
