A local singer/songwriter is urging the people of the Isle of Man to get behind a campaign to get her song to Christmas number one.
Katherine Crowe is releasing a version of “Smile” which she recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra earlier this month.
It’s in an effort to raise money to fund more research into new treatments for cancer – a subject close to Katherine’s heart as she’s been diagnosed with a terminal form of the disease.
The track will be available to download on iTunes from Friday – and it’s hoped enough support can be gained on the Island, and from further afield, to help it in the race to the top spot.
