The Speaker of the House of Keys says a UK MP is sympathetic to concerns over the impact wind farms could have on shipping lanes.
Steve Rodan met with David Morris, who represents Morecambe, to discuss the Irish Sea issue recently.
As Heysham falls into Mr Morris’s constituency the MP has now tabled a Commons Early Day Motion.
It calls for government to stop wind turbines blighting the UK’s shipping lanes 'in the same way they blight the countryside'.
