An English politician is raising the issue of Irish Sea wind farms with the UK parliament.
David Morris, the MP for Morecambe & Lunesdale, has tabled an Early Day Motion asking the Commons to note that turbines are starting to reduce the capacity of shipping lanes.
Mr Morris highlights the concerns of the Isle of Man and the Steam Packet Company, which believes a proposed wind farm will cause problems for its Douglas to Heysham service.
Mr Morris calls for the UK government to move away from the construction of wind farms in shipping lanes.
