Members of the public are being urged to remember the importance of good food hygiene in the run up to Christmas.
Food poisoning is common at this time of year as usually people are catering for a lot more people than normal.
It’s also usually the largest bird or piece of meat that’s been prepared and cooked since last Christmas.
Symptoms of food poisoning include vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps.
Food safety manager, for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, Ivan Bratty has this advice.
