Public's views sought on Open Skies policy

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

Members of the public are invited to submit their views on whether they want a change to the current ‘Open Skies’ policy.

As it stands the policy allows airlines free access to fly routes to and from the Island, this results in different carriers operating the same links.

The investigation is looking to see if the current system is still in the best interests of the people of the Isle of Man.

MHK Leonard Singer is the chair of the Economic Committee carrying out the work, he told us about the alternative that has been proposed.

You can submit your views to the Committee Secretariat at Legislative Buildings, with a deadline of January 3rd.
